The breakfast is a big plus, with pancakes made to order, warm cinnamon buns, and hot food that often includes omelets and sausage or bacon. The staff are friendly and well trained, and I love grabbing fresh coffee from the lobby machine any time of day. They often put out free popcorn too. I've stayed here many times over the last ten years, for personal trips as well as work bookings and family gatherings with lots of rooms. We used to pick the Hampton Inn because of our loyalty to the national brand, but after several terrible stays there, I now ignore my points and come here when I'm in Meadville. The place is clean and well cared for. The pool and hot tub are great and not overchlorinated, and the pool area has large, clean bathrooms. There's also a patio with a big grill for summer, a spacious gym, and that always available coffee machine. It's easy to get around from here. You can walk to several restaurants, and downtown, Allegheny College, Conneaut Lake, and other area attractions are nearby. We come back several times a year, and the price is a great value. Even if you don't usually choose Holiday Inn Express or IHG, this is the hotel I'd recommend in Meadville.

A quiet night's sleep is rare for me in hotels, but I've had one here more than once. The built-in AC controls are simple, and there's a “Constant Fan” button that makes a real difference for sleeping. No wall thermostat to mess with the temperature. My unit was already set just right, maybe luck, but I appreciated it. The blackout shades worked great too. Only drawback was that the TV was a bit hard to see from the far bed. I've come a few times for a mini break from home, most recently in early 2025. The room was modern, though not quite my style, and very thoroughly cleaned. I check carefully for dirt and bugs before settling in, and found none. The bathroom was clean and had everything I needed. The shower head was so good that I bought one for home. There's a mini fridge and microwave too, handy for pizza night. The staff were friendly and got me into the room quickly. The lobby is nice, with a snack shop and complimentary treats at certain times. Once I found a rolling mini freezer with free ice cream treats. The indoor pool and hot tub are both great, and there are lots of places to eat around town. This is an awesome hotel, and I'll be back. Please don't change those AC controls!

The staff were so friendly, and we were welcomed with popcorn, then biscuits in the afternoon and ice cream in the evening. Such a lovely stay. Other Holiday Inn Express locations could learn from this one. Great job 👏

For a wedding stay, this hotel had everything I needed: clean rooms, comfortable beds, and accommodating, friendly staff. Meadville itself doesn't give me much reason to come back, though. There's not much there, more of a place to stop and pee. That's not the hotel's fault, and if you do need to be in Meadville, PA, this should be your first choice.

We always choose this place when we're in Meadville. It's just off the interstate, and the staff are helpful, courteous, professional, and amazing. The rooms are nice, and I think the hotel was renovated recently. Breakfast is free, with plenty of hot food and choices. Highly recommend!
