Quality Inn Fredericksburg near Historic Downtown

We got a quiet room as far from the road as possible, and both the room and bathroom were clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable, the shower was great, and shampoo and conditioner were provided on the wall. The AC worked well. Check-in was easy, with friendly front desk staff. Breakfast was available, but we left too early to try it. There’s a Dunkin Donuts right next to the hotel, though. We like motels, and this one fit the bill. We’ll definitely stay again.

We slept great and the rooms were clean. Taylor, who was looking after breakfast, was clearly engaged and cared about his work. That kind of hospitality is rare in 2026, and I told him so. The way you do one thing is the way you do everything. Nicely done, sir!

I picked this smoke-free hotel because I had enough points for a night and it was on my way to Raleigh. The service was exemplary, from a cheerful late-night check-in to the kind words of the housekeeper when I came back from a bike ride after checking out. A front desk employee also went out of their way to help look for my misplaced bicycle tools and convinced me I hadn’t lost them at the hotel. I later found them elsewhere. This is now at the top of my list for future stops.

We walked in and found a clean, economical Quality Inn with smoke-free rooms and common areas, plus free parking. The room was old but decent and clean. Staff were helpful and kind, and breakfast had good options. A good place to stop for the night while driving on I-95. Thank you!
