God blessed Texas! I went to a wedding and stayed in the Ranch House at this beautiful ranch, which is perfect for events. The house had three bedrooms with two beds in each, plus two bathrooms. The bathtub was amazing, and every space had adorable antique decor, mostly family heirlooms with wonderful stories behind them. Everything was clean and well stocked. The fire pit was ready, and they even provided S’mores. There’s Lukenbach close by, as well as downtown Fredericksburg, with its German restaurants and lots of shopping. You’re also in wine country, with so many wineries, and Texas peaches are a must. There’s a huge dance hall/community room and a game room. I’d highly recommend this for family reunions, retreats, or weddings.

The Ranch House was perfect for our family of five, including two teens and a toddler, and we absolutely loved the stay. The kids were excited about all the sheep and chickens, and the youngest even got to feed a baby sheep. There was something for everyone, and being close to downtown and all the restaurants was a big plus. I can’t wait for our next trip back!

We came back for a second visit, this time with the family for a reunion in Minna's house, and it was every bit as good as our first stay. The kids and adults both had plenty to do, from seeing the sheep, donkeys, and chickens to playing games and gathering around the campfires at night. We also had our family get-together in the dance hall. Mark and Sue are wonderful hosts, and we’re already looking forward to next year. Fredericksburg restaurants, Enchanted Rock hiking, and nearby wineries are all within 20 minutes or less.

We spent five days at the ranch over spring break and especially loved the evenings around the campfire, making s'mores and chatting with other guests. During the day we fed the donkeys, sheep, and chickens, including baby sheep Mary by bottle, and went hiking in several places and played yard games. Mark, Sue, and Jeanine were so warm and friendly. We definitely plan to return.

A lovely place to stay, with beautiful land, amazing rooms, and everything clean and well stocked. It gives you a great taste of Texas hill country, and you're close to both the wineries and downtown Fredericksburg.
