Kat is a fantastic host, full of stories and helpful information about the local area and people. We had a wonderful stay at Harrison House, renting both rooms for two couples. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, with a shared area to hang out. Breakfast was incredible, and the place is very close to Main Street and the attractions. There's an enclosed hot tub for four, too. They're opening a larger property soon, and we'd love to stay there sometime. We'll definitely be back.

My daughter and I couldn't have asked for a better place for my birthday weekend. We spent three awesome days at The Southern Charm Lodging Bed and Breakfast. Ms. Cathryn "Cat" and Mr. Dentist have warm, fun Southern personalities, and the cooking is extraordinarily delicious. Our Victorian Southern Suite felt like my grandmother's Southern home, and we were so comfortable. At breakfast we met some lovely people staying in the three lodges on the property. I highly recommend this Fredericksburg, TX B&B.

Breakfast was fantastic, home cooked by Kat, the owner. She really goes the extra mile, and the owners are friendly and make sure you have what you need. Clara's cabin was cozy, tastefully decorated, and felt like an outdoorsy home away from home. The bed was comfortable, and there was a garden area with a private full-sized hot tub and covered parking. It's a private cabin and a rare jewel. I highly recommend it for a honeymoon getaway.

The Sienna Suite felt like home, with a comfortable bed and great accommodations. It was our first bed and breakfast and we loved it. The stay instructions were detailed and easy to follow. The owner's granddaughter cooked breakfast Friday and Saturday, and wow, what a way to start the day. Peach and pecan Belgian waffles and plantation shortbread, all excellent. It's right off Main St, an easy walk to the shops. We'll definitely come back.

We stayed in the cabin and it was SO lovely. Past the beautifully painted wooden gate, it felt like our own little world. Everything was beautifully decorated, and we can't say enough about it. The breakfast was filling, delicious, and homemade gourmet, and Mrs. Harrison is a wonderful cook and hostess. They're close to Main Street, so the convenient location let us enjoy more of the town during our short visit. There are a couple of rules you might not find at a standard chain hotel. I'd recommend this place to any couple visiting Texas wine country. You'll have to stay and experience it for yourself.
