Maia, the hostess, made the whole bridal shower easy with her kindness, attention, and organization. She sorted out seating, timing, and all the little details without us needing to ask. The White Inn was lovely, clean, and set up perfectly for our Valentine's Day celebration. The food looked beautiful, tasted great, and got lots of compliments. Service was thoughtful and prompt, and we never felt rushed. We had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for a better place for a bridal shower. We'll absolutely be back for another special occasion.

The chicken and broccoli fettuccine alfredo was worth every bite, though I wasn't that impressed by the prices at first. I came to eat because I heard The White Inn was the only place serving food on a Sunday in Fredonia, apart from the fast food places. I sat at the bar, and the bartender was prompt and cordial. I was coming on a work break and worried my clothes might not be appropriate, but everyone made me feel welcome. The other customers nearby even started some friendly small talk. 5/5, and thanks for the food and warm welcome!

We had dinner on 1/28. The food was good, and our server made it a good experience, but the hostess was shockingly rude. She didn't greet us, seemed annoyed we were there, and barely spoke while acting very bothered about seating us. She was an older woman with dark hair and a grey streak. I've worked in restaurants for a long time, and I'd suggest having someone with a kinder manner welcome guests.

We were tired, starving, and didn't want to cook, so we tried the newly remodeled White Inn, expecting a high end sort of place. Dinner arrived around 6:30, but there was more tartar sauce than coleslaw, and the fish was thin with bland batter. I asked for gravy with my mashed potatoes, but they had none. The potatoes were dark and tasted like they'd been made around 4pm. My friend's baked potato was dark too, like potatoes that have been sitting and turning brown or burnt. No roll, no lemon wedge, and no other salad options, just coleslaw, with no mac or potato salad. The two bites of coleslaw were watery, tart, and generic, like it came from Tops. Nothing to rave about. It was $37 for two, not counting drinks. Pretty blah. Never again.

The staff were kind and polite all evening, keeping our drinks filled and making sure we were happy without hovering. They even took our plates to the kitchen and packed our leftovers for us. That attention to detail was probably my favorite part. My partner and I wanted a nice dinner after the renovations, and the dining room felt beautiful, comfortable, and almost like a wedding hall, with cushioned seats and lovely lighting. The reservation process on the website was easy, and the experience was much better than some of the one star reviews had led me to expect. The menu had lots of drinks and entrees, plus a chef's special menu. My partner's beef pot roast was tender and flavorful. I had the caprese sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy. The sandwich was delicious, though the fried eggplant overpowered the caprese a bit for my taste. The mashed potatoes and gravy were buttery, rich, and melted in my mouth. For a fancy feeling place, the prices seemed reasonable. The fancier dishes were around $30-40, and there were also choices around $15. It seemed fair for a nice night out downtown. We don't often get to feel fancy, but this night was special, and I wish more people could enjoy it too.
