My boyfriend and I had no water at home, so we needed a room for one night. He booked the king suite using my card. At the desk, the woman noticed the card name wasn't his and asked me to come show ID. I accidentally handed her my expired license, and she pointed that out and asked if I had a valid one. I've never had that happen before at a two-star hotel, and she only needed to see me and my photo, she isn't NPD. The bath didn't work either, so we could only shower. There was also an obvious rat problem. I'd stay away.

For $50 a night, it does the job as a place to rest. It didn't seem sketchy like the motels in Houston, and the other guests actually had nice cars. A few things could be fixed, but what more do you expect at that price? The owner is a nice guy, basically running the place alone. If you need something, just ask!

Easy to rent and fine for a place to sleep. Not bad for what it costs.

The service was fine, but I wouldn't come back. It's an overpriced motel with dirty rooms, cigarette burns in the bedding, a door that wouldn't lock, and no hot water. The walls are paper thin. I'd go up the road and pay the extra $20 for much better rooms and breakfast.
