Holiday Inn Express and Suites North Fremont

If you’re in the military, be aware: this place has a policy of refusing rooms to anyone under 21, and being active service doesn’t make a difference. You can die for your country, yet still can’t rent a room for the night in it. They’d rather have you sleep in your car or keep driving while tired. I’ll never support this business or anything associated with this company again. Don’t tell me “thank you for your service.” Update the policy to fit the times.

I paid for two nights but left after the first, and was just glad to get out, even with rain and road work. Driving was better than staying another minute. The hotel felt rundown, at least my first-floor room, and the people were rude and mean. There was no service, and they acted arrogant about it. When I asked for a card with the address, they had none. I asked for stationery or an envelope and was told it was locked away somewhere. It was a horrible experience, the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I can’t get over how mean they were. I think this may just be the city, since I’ve stayed at good places in Sharon, Pennsylvania. I usually choose Marriott and think I’ll stick with that or Hilton. If this has more than one five-star review, I wonder if they pay people to write them, or if their own staff does it.

The staff made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Everyone I met was welcoming, kind, and professional. The hotel itself is clean, peaceful, and beautifully maintained, with a quiet, relaxing atmosphere. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it for comfort and good hospitality.

We were visiting family and first made the mistake of stopping at the hampton inn. The front desk there was rude and laughed when we realized we’d gone to the wrong place. Luckily, we ended up at the holiday inn, where Jasmine at the front desk greeted us so warmly. The room was great, and we’ll stay here again next time we’re in town to see family.
