The open windows made the tucked-away cabin feel peaceful and private, and the whole stay had a lovely unplugged feel. Cell service is weak, but there’s a landline in the cabin if you need to reach someone. They’ve provided the cooking basics, including plates and utensils. There are some snacks and water if you get stuck, though you’ll want to bring your own food and stock up first. Such a beautiful experience, I’d happily do it again.

We barely needed to bring anything. The cabin had pots, pans, silverware, bowls, plates, cutting boards, BBQ tongs, and even tin foil for the grill. It was clean and neatly organized, with fresh linens on the nicely made beds. There was also a battery-powered lantern, a small but thoughtful detail. The team was so pleasant, and they replenished snacks and firewood every day. We enjoyed chatting when they came by to refresh things. The whole stay felt welcoming, and it was the most peaceful escape we could have imagined. We loved it and can’t wait to return.

The space was clean and so peaceful, exactly what I needed. The staff checked in daily to replace anything I’d used and were there whenever I needed something. They were warm and caring, and the personal welcome really came through in the little details: a handwritten note, two bottles of water, a s’mores kit, Cheez-Its, oatmeal cups, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, three fire starters, and three bundles of firewood. It felt like being welcomed, not just hosted. I can’t wait to stay again.

Trying postcard cabin St Francois was way outside my comfort zone, but I don’t regret it at all. The place was gorgeous, and the amazing team made the day everything I’d dreamed it would be. I couldn’t be more thankful.
