Travel Inn and Suites

I went ahead and stayed on 7-9-17 despite the bad reviews, and the room itself was okay. At checkout, after I said I wanted to pay cash, the front desk guy charged me $5 more than my online booking showed. Maybe he thought he could pocket the difference because it was cash. I would've stayed again if I hadn't felt cheated. To the Indian guy in the office, that was a stupid move.

I spent 3 1/2 years there, and they only applied for one apartment during that whole time. They let my first voucher expire, then tried to submit false housing documents under my name. I was kicked out after arguing with my wife, supposedly because I was in her face. Since then, staff have gotten in my face three times in two weeks, trying to provoke me and make me look bad. My ESAs Emotional Support Animals weren't safe there either. Staff acted like they knew what was best, called the SPCA or waited until people were gone to chase animals off the property. I saw that happen a dozen times. They chased my cats off instead of letting me get them, and I'm missing my three cats, ages 3-8, that I've had since birth. It's an emergency shelter, so at first I thought it was better than the street. Now I think it's worse. Some staff do their jobs, but others use the little control they have to manipulate people. They pretend to care while acting like snakes in the grass. I'm sure this isn't the first time you've heard this, and it won't be the last. These shelters feel like a scam where the bigwigs embezzle the funding and leave unhoused people right where they started.

This room was so disgusting I was afraid to touch anything. I've never been this grossed out by a hotel or motel, and it felt like the place was crawling with disease. Five dollars would be too much for it. I wanted to call someone to shut it down. Negative 20 stars. Don't stay here, spend the extra $20 at Ramada Inn. Trust me.

There was trash all over the grounds, and right by my brother's door, on the stairs, someone had left a used condom less than five feet away. The manager or owner just walked around as if nothing was happening. Streetwalkers were everywhere with no shame. This is the worst flea bag motel ever, and it should be condemned. I'm very disappointed. The owner should be reported to welfare and fined. I wish I could punch that dude in the face.
