The inn sits in the heart of the San Juan Island countryside, giving you that island feel, but town is only a five-minute drive away for dinner. The rooms are very comfortable, and the indoor and outdoor common areas are lovely places to sit with tea and a good book. Breakfast was especially good. I appreciated that the proprietor asked about dietary needs and preferences and made a delicious meal for everyone.

Claudia makes an awesome breakfast and has helpful tips on where to go and what to see. You start and end the day smiling. The beds are comfy, it’s quiet, and the views are beautiful. The property is beautifully manicured, with animals you can feed and spend time with. It’s an easy five-star rating for me. You’re close to town but still feel a world away, with a laid-back feel and many more amenities.

For all the peaceful, restful feeling of the place, it’s still near just about anything you’d want to do on San Juan island. This is one of the most restful inns I’ve stayed in, and the bucolic setting and down-home feel don’t mean it’s rustic. There are luxurious touches throughout. My wife and I only spent one night here, but I’m sure we’ll return. It’s a gem, and I’d say do yourself a favor and stay.

We had a magical stay, and loved spending time outdoors and feeding the alpacas and goats. The property is stunning, and breakfast was delicious. It’s also just a short drive to Friday Harbor and other island attractions. My daughter and I will definitely come back.

We enjoyed our stay so much that even though we were there for only two days, it felt like a much longer vacation. Thank you for making it memorable. We’ll definitely come back and recommend the place to anyone visiting the Island.
