The beds were comfortable, the water felt soft, the TV had plenty of cable channels, and the staff were very helpful. The price was great, too. But there were a lot of problems with the room. The bolt lock didn't work, and the bathroom light switched on an extremely loud fan. It was uncovered, with dust clogging it, which seemed like a fire hazard. The dresser drawers had no handles and were inlaid, so opening one meant tilting the whole dresser. The walls were thin enough that I could hear full conversations, and the water running for a shower was so loud the whole complex could hear it. The hotel is right by a busy road, too. Maid service wasn't daily, and by the second day we were out of clean towels, coffee, and cups. The creamer had gone solid in its packet, like a chalky lump.

The room had windows on both sides, so opening them in the morning brought in a nice breeze and a view of a lovely vegetable garden. Even with the brightly lit parking lot outside, the heavy curtains extended beyond the window frames and kept the room dark enough for me to sleep. The room was spotless, with soft, snow-white towels and linens, and the shower was clean with good temperature and pressure. I could prepare my own drinks and breakfast thanks to the refrigerator, microwave, and small coffee maker. The TV worked well, and connecting to the fast Wi-Fi was easy. The location on Hwy. 65 was convenient to reach. Though the road is busy, I heard little noise except when a large semi truck passed.

The bed was comfortable, and the room seemed clean. Still, a lot of things were crooked, so whoever's handling the maintenance has some work to do. The bathroom floor felt like it might give way, with cracked tiles and water from the shower leaking into them. The stay wasn't bad, but the rooms could use repairs.

It's an old-fashioned motel, with a parking spot right in front of the room. The room was huge, though I wish more of that space had gone to the bathroom. It was mostly clean. This is probably one of the last places where you can still smoke in the room, which worked out well for my boyfriend since he didn't have to go outside.
