Candlewood Suites Dallas-Frisco NW Toyota Ctr

I stayed four nights at the beginning of September 2025. After the first night, I woke with around eight bites across my body. I'd never dealt with bed bugs before, so I looked into it and came to think that was what they were. I tried calling the front desk from my room, but nobody picked up. I went downstairs and waited for about an hour for someone to appear. I believe they may have been asleep in the back. At first, they told me I'd have to wait for the morning shift to change rooms, but I wasn't going back to sleep in a bed I believed had bed bugs. They did eventually move me, but offered no help with my exposed clothes, so I left them at the hotel. Later, after moving me to another room on the same floor, I saw another customer being checked into the very room I'd left the previous evening. If you're looking at hotels in the area, I wouldn't recommend this one if you have other options.

They only clean the room once a week, and getting fresh towels when needed was a problem. You even have to take your towels down to the front desk, where they count them and hand back the same number. It was a ridiculous way to treat customers. We paid $82 for this crap, and after two weeks it was the worst hotel stay I've had. Go somewhere else for better service and to save money. Never going back.

I stayed for five days to visit my new grandbaby and would gladly come back. The room was nice, the bed was comfortable, and there were plenty of towels, dish towels, and a table/desk for meals or work. I brought paper plates and utensils, but the kitchen already had what I needed: a full-size fridge with an ice maker, a small coffee pot, toaster, microwave, and two-burner stove. It made it easy to stick to my diet and avoid fast food.

One good thing is that there's laundry onsite. The stay wasn't too bad, but the loose front door slammed really hard each time it shut. On the first floor, the smoking area, chairs and sign were right outside my window. Late at night and early in the morning, loud voices echoed right outside and made it hard to relax or sleep. Common sense isn't so common, I guess.
