The location is hard to beat for the affordable price. I booked through Orbitz and liked the unit: it's big, quiet, good value, and everything worked. Shampoo, hair conditioner, a hair dryer, sugar, salt, and even a spice rack were provided. It seems worth coming back, especially if they sort out a few things. The fridge isn't full size, and its tiny freezer shelf badly needs defrosting. There's no dishwasher. The dark shower curtain and lack of a light above the shower made bathing gloomy, so I tucked the outer curtain into the towel holder to let in some light. Cleaning was only decent in the middle of the room. I had to reach behind the bed and along the baseboards to find outlets and the thermostat, which is down at floor level by the heaters. Dusting seemed nonexistent. The spice rack, knife block, and most of the little shelves were really dusty. They need a better cleaning service.

Cedar Lodge Unit 309 has a balcony overlooking Mount Royal, plus a fireplace, and the decor is lovely. It's charming and right in central Frisco Colorado, an ideal spot for skiing or relaxing in summer. The price is right, too.

A lovely little motel in a beautiful town.

The location just off I-70 is convenient, and Cedar Lodge is a decent building. It has a glass elevator, laundry on site, a seasonal hot tub, a small clubhouse, and some enclosed parking.
