Hampton Inn & Suites Legacy Park-Frisco

Breakfast was good, and the staff were nice, though not especially friendly. The place didn't feel very clean, with dust everywhere, beyond what guests might leave behind. The room was a good size and kept very clean, but there were coffee stains on the nightstand and holes in the pillowcase. The door didn't close all the way, so we had to check each time that it shut properly. The bathroom sink drain was slow too. These seem like maintenance problems.

The atmosphere was relaxing, and the staff made us feel welcome. Everything was clean and comfortable, just as described, and the service was excellent. I had a great time here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend! 🌟

The location was close to the event we planned to attend, and check-in was smooth, just like at other Hilton/Hampton Inn hotels. We were able to check in early using the app. I've been staying at Hilton/Hampton Inn properties for over 40 years and try to stay positive, but this was easily our worst Hampton Inn, worse than some hotels I've seen in the Middle East. At around midnight, my wife got up to use the bathroom and slipped in a large puddle in the entryway. The bathroom had flooded. The night manager brought towels, but there was no maintenance person to call and no housekeeping. He jiggled the handle and reached into the toilet tank to stop it overflowing, then dried the floor with towels, without cleaning products. He offered another room, but we were exhausted and chose to wait until morning. The next room had toilet paper by the bed, pills on the floor, and trash. The toilet was backed up, so we moved across the hall to room #3. Its floors were dirty, with paint chips by the bed and wall, like it hadn't been vacuumed. The window units did little for the humidity and were so loud I couldn't sleep, like Darth Vader standing over me. There was a rat outside by the entrance curb, about the size of a 3-month-old kitten. I told the desk staff, and it was gone by the next morning. There was also dog mess on the sidewalk by the Diamond and handicap parking. I reported it, but it was still there two days later when we left.

The room was infested with bed bugs. When we raised the safety issue, Karen was unprofessional and didn't seem prepared or trained to handle it. She said she'd only worked there a few months and was concerned only with who had cleaned the room. I had to tell her to contact the manager about the seriousness of the problem. Karen's attitude was horrible, the room was horrible, and the service was worse. She never apologized for the inconvenience or tried to make things right by compensating us for the room.
