Holton Inn and Suites

We left as soon as we saw how the bedding was handled, and luckily got a refund. The room wasn’t ready when we were sent up. We watched the cleaning crew throw the sheets onto the hallway floor, spray them, then put those same sheets back on the bed and tell us the room was ready. They were tossed onto the dirty carpet and stomped on before being picked up. Seeing that made me think they might never be washed, just fluffed up for the next guests. The boy and the lady let us watch the whole thing.

We booked at the holton inn but were put in Red roof inn instead. The rooms were gross, the cards didn’t work, and getting help was no use. When the room card failed, the workers just told us to try again, and even once inside, the door was hard to open to get back out. Communication was difficult too, since the workers could barely understand or speak English. I’d never recommend this place, even if you’re trying to save money in a pinch. It’s not worth it.

The room itself wasn’t bad, but the shower fan was really noisy. You have to ask for towels every day, and even then you’re lucky if they’re clean. Most of the staff couldn’t understand English. Unfortunately, there aren’t many other places to choose from in the area.

It’s still affordable, and my picky mother liked the mattress. We did have some issues with the TV.
