Bayside Inn

The room was small and remodeled, with a dorm fridge and microwave. There was no continental breakfast or pool, which I had seen on the Booking site.

The place is small but kept very tidy. Jack makes sure there's no trash anywhere, even in the parking lot, and the maids were friendly and did a good job. The rooms are always clean, and I like their old-fashioned key locks instead of plastic cards. I've tried every room size available, and all were great. The freeway is right there, and the price is right. Manager "Jack" was exceptionally kind and friendly, with great customer service. I saw him go out of his way for customers. I'm sad to say that on my last visit, another employee questioned my registered service pets, even though I'd stayed numerous times, always paid a deposit, and provided service dog cards without any prior problem. Another office staff member more or less kicked us out. As I understood it, the explanation was that the policy had changed, but it seemed questionable and unfair given the laws about service animals. They refunded the money, but we had to leave. That really upset me because I liked staying there. My dogs are well trained, and I always cleaned up after them. Check the pet policy before booking. Other than that, it's a great place to stay.

The location was perfect, with beautiful views and convenient access to nearby attractions. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and a nice way to start the day. Our rooms at Bayside Inn were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff were very friendly and attentive to what we needed. We had a fantastic stay and I'll definitely return. I highly recommend Bayside Inn if you're looking for a welcoming, comfortable place.

We were a group of five families spread over six rooms, and couldn't have been happier. The rooms aren't brand new, but thoughtful touches made a difference, like complimentary water and granola bars, a small space heater, and the extra nook in the two-queen room. The front desk was extremely friendly. I called the day before to confirm because I'd booked through a third-party site, and the owner made sure everything was handled. If we come back to the area, this is where we'll stay.
