Downtown Frisco has cute shops, places to eat, and a lovely wine bar, and it’s a handy base for skiing nearby or taking a short drive to Breck. We went tubing at Frisco Adventure Center and had a blast. Parking out back was plentiful at $15/day, and happy hour by the fire was a nice way for my friends and me to sit with wine and read. We were there for a girls’ weekend during a very cold, snowy January, and Nancy and her new front desk colleague were so kind and accommodating. Our room was roomy and nice, though the bathroom really needs updating. It looks like work is underway, and photos of other rooms show much nicer bathrooms. That didn’t put us off giving five stars. I’d come back for the mountain setting and local charm, without staying at a busy ski resort.

We showed up four hours before our reservation, and Nancy somehow got our room cleaned and ready quickly. The daily happy hour with music was a treat. We sat with wine by the fire while snow fell outside. We stayed three nights, and each was better than the one before. The room had plenty of space, a mini fridge, a 55 inch TV, and ceiling fans. The bathroom was roomy too, with great water pressure. The hotel is clean, beautifully designed, and well placed in town. We’d love to return to this lively, quaint spot in Frisco.

We’d stay here again. It’s a charming little boutique hotel in a great location, and the lobby has happy hour at 4 with live entertainment. The first glass is complementary. Our ADA room, 108, opened just off the lobby, with its windows facing the Main Street sidewalk. It could get a little noisy, and we probably wouldn’t have wanted to open the curtains. I don’t think that would be a concern in the other rooms.

We stayed in winter, and the room temperature was comfortable. There was a mini fridge, and the staff were all so kind. They also had board games guests could use. The shared space has a big fireplace and feels homey. Happy hour from 4-6pm is a fun way for guests to gather and get to know one another. It’s a cozy place in a great location, though parking costs $15/night. We’ll definitely be back!

Main Street is right outside, with lots of restaurants within walking distance, and Breckenridge is about 15 minutes away while Vail is around 35. We spent one night at Hotel Frisco and would happily return. Nancy at the front desk stayed in touch before we arrived to make sure we had all the details, which we appreciated. Both rooms we booked were clean, roomy, and comfortable. The lobby is cozy around its fireplace, and they offer free hot drinks and cookies, a nice touch.
