Good Karma Inn

Mike's warm personality makes for good company, though he can talk your ear off about all sorts of things. He knows the local restaurants and coffee houses, and if you need a contact in Homer, chances are he knows someone who can help. The breakfast and morning conversation were both great. Michael is a welcoming host with plenty of local knowledge. An absolutely phenomenal place to stay in Homer, Alaska. Five stars plus, I'd book Mike again for my next Homer trip.

Michael was great to talk with about Homer, its history, local places to eat, and how Good Karma Inn got started. The room had a great view, and so did the Inn overall. When we were leaving, he suggested a different route out of town that took us to a lookout over Homer and the bay, with a breathtaking view of the glaciers and water. We had a wonderful stay and really appreciated the hospitality. If we're back in Homer, we'll visit Good Karma Inn again.

Michael, the Inn Keeper and proprietor, was helpful with tips to make our Homer visit a good one. He also cooked breakfast at home, including delicious reindeer sausage. We had a lovely three-night stay, with beautiful views of the bay and mountains from all around the house. There's a nice patio or balcony to sit and take it all in.

We stayed four days, three nights in the Wisdom room and one in the Mindfulness room. Both are very nice upstairs rooms with great views and a shared balcony. Mike was cordial, helpful, and full of suggestions for places to eat and things to do. He made some great breakfasts, too. The house is quiet, private, and beautiful, with incredible views. I'm grateful we got to meet Mike and spend time with him. His thoughtfulness helped make our Alaska visit a great experience.
