Rogue River Resort

The owners were around each morning tending the plants and property, and they were friendly while giving us plenty of privacy. We loved swimming in the Rogue here on those HOT summer days. The photos really don’t show how great the place is, especially with its prime location.

The riverfront setting is lovely, with decks looking out over the park-like grounds, and the outdoor space would work well for a wedding or just hanging out with kids. The river moves slowly here, so floating around felt worry-free. Our room had been recently remodeled and was really nice, with more accommodations than I’d usually expect. It’s quiet and feels private just outside Grants Pass, though restaurants and grocery stores are only a short drive away. My wife and I stayed one night and had a fantastic time. I’d definitely recommend it.

We had such a lovely time here with our almost four-year-old boy and our 11 week old daughter. The river is calm at this spot, and the setting is beautiful. The cottages are really cute and felt homey. My one change would be to own the place myself, haha. It was our first visit, but definitely won’t be our last!

The big house was spacious and had everything we needed, while my son, his wife, and my daughter stayed in the cabins. We had a wonderful breakfast out on the deck, with the sound of the river, the trees and lawn, and easy access to the water all around us. There’s so much to love about this place. If I didn’t live 11 hours away, I’d stay at least once a month. Can’t wait to return.
