The restaurant staff were especially warm, and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. We also liked how close the Marriott at Cal State Fullerton is to coffee shops and places to eat. Our room was modern, comfortable, and clean, and the whole team was helpful and professional. We had a really nice stay and would recommend it.

The room was roomy, with two couches, a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, good shower pressure, and nice toiletries. Staff were friendly, and the lobby has a nice feel with its restaurant and bar. It’s an older Marriott that’s had a light refresh. Parking costs a bit and is a hassle, though I expected that. I’d stay again.

Kevin, the front desk manager, was great, and the service was good. The hotel isn’t new, but it’s well kept. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and plan to come back. Highly recommend it.

The rooms run 7-10 degrees warmer than the thermostat says, and the WiFi is weak and unreliable. The beds feel extremely cheap and uncomfortable. Breakfast is mediocre and far too expensive, while the vouchers send you to a concierge lounge with even worse food. The showers leave a slimy feeling on your skin, apparently because the soft water is high in sodium and lead. The staff are friendly, but I’ve only put up with the place for its location and convenience. It isn’t cheap, and it no longer feels worth the money.

We appreciated that the bar stayed open for our conference, which made evenings more enjoyable and felt like thoughtful hospitality. The rooms were comfortable, the staff friendly, and the hotel had a welcoming atmosphere. I just wish both the pool and bar stayed open later. Otherwise, a great stay, and I’d recommend it for work or leisure.
