Nearly every time I get home, there’s someone in front of my garage or in my assigned space. Parking costs $200-$250, but there’s little or no enforcement, and it’s incredibly frustrating to pay a premium for a spot I can’t reliably use. Support calls it a resident issue, while the towing company says only management can approve a tow, leaving us to waste time over and over. Other apartment communities post towing company details and signs around the property, which helps deter unauthorized parking. I expect that kind of enforcement here, especially since this is marketed as a luxury building.

There are only four guest parking spaces for the whole complex, and they threaten to tow cars for double parking even though it may be the only option available. With so few places for visitors, they leave notes on tenants’ doors telling them to follow the parking rules while making it almost impossible for guests to do that. Don’t live here if you have friends. They seem to expect everyone to be lonely.

I chose to leave and won’t be coming back because of the parking setup. Apartments cost over $3,000 a month, yet parking isn’t included. Residents are limited to two spaces total: one garage spot and one extra space for $250 a month. If you have more than one vehicle, you’re basically forced to pay more just to park. I’ve never come across a policy like this and was surprised it wasn’t part of the lease. Charging extra rent for access to what should be a standard amenity feels unreasonable. A fairer system might assign spaces based on the number of bedrooms or people on the lease. The current policy doesn’t fix parking; it just adds costs for tenants.

We spent almost two years at Las Palmas and loved it. Both of our apartments had their own charm and felt like home, and there’s a real sense of community. The property is kept up extremely well by the friendly management and maintenance teams. We especially liked the clean, inviting gym and pool. Las Palmas is tucked into a quiet, cozy part of Fullerton, still close enough to downtown without the busy downtown feel. We’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to live in the Fullerton area. Thank you, Las Palmas :)
