Bed bugs, in two words. My partner and I booked a king suite, and he woke in the middle of the night covered in bites on his back, arms, and legs. We changed rooms, but by morning I had bites on my shoulder, knee, and face. The replacement room had terrible plumbing: the toilet would flush for 10 minutes, then stop. The hotel is also right by the highway, so traffic noise is constant, and the TVs lag badly. You can’t get a steady internet connection either. I don’t recommend staying here.

The room was beautiful, spotless, and smelled fresh. The manager was so sweet and polite, and the staff were great. The three of us had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. Huge hugs.

There are several electric vehicle charging stations and a Mexican bar/restaurant on the property. It’s an easily accessible waterfront hotel in the heart of New York State, and the price is amazing. The new owners seem to care about the place: they’re friendly and regularly out maintaining and improving the hotel. If you stayed when it was a Red Roof Inn, you can expect a better experience now. Don’t let an earlier stay put you off returning to Fulton.
