Hampton Inn & Suites Rockport-Fulton

I stayed for a full week on a work trip, and housekeeping never came to my room once. After a long workday, I had to go down to the lobby myself every time I needed basics like trash bags or clean towels. For what you pay, basic hotel service is expected. Having to take care of my own room made the trip stressful and inconvenient. I absolutely don’t recommend this place, especially for work travel. Avoid it.

We’re a family of five and had plenty of room in a spacious room with two queen beds and a fold-out couch. It seems fairly new. There was a separate sink area with a mini fridge and microwave, and the bathroom looked pretty clean, with the shower and toilet apart from the vanity. Breakfast was good, with sausage, eggs made differently each day, potatoes, waffles, cereal, fruit, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, and muffins. Staff were friendly and greeted us coming and going. The pool and hot tub were clean, and there was a really nice workout room. Highly recommend, close to downtown Rockport.

The staff were nice, but the shower had only an empty shampoo bottle. While I was out, nobody removed the used towels or trash, or made the beds.

Whenever I come to fish in the area, I stay at this Hampton. It’s a quiet spot with nice staff and clean bedding. The breakfast is top notch, and you can tell whoever makes it really cares about the food quality.
