Hope W.
The water is beautiful, but I honestly won't come back. The cabin's rules and restrictions seemed to vary depending on the person or staff member. When we first ran the shower, brown tar or nicotine runoff came down the ceiling and walls, even though the cabin was marked non-smoking. It was disgusting. There were spider webs inside and outside, and we had no real blanket, just something like a fitted sheet to cover ourselves. Parking was awful too. In most cases you can't park at the cabin and have to use the dirt and gravel lot across the campsite. The campsite smelled like sewage. Sewage had actually run into the river at one point, and I have photos and videos. When management heard about it, they said they didn't care because it was private property. The man also said it happens all the time, especially after busy weekends and heavy rain. While I was trying to enjoy an evening on the dock, an animal's insides floated past. If you're not an alcoholic or a swinger, this isn't the place for you. I'd live in a box in an alley before staying here again.
