Redwood Inn

I’ve already checked out, so I don’t really have a photo. The rooms were very, very clean, though. For a small hotel, they were immaculate. Honestly, what else can I say?

I wouldn't stay here again. Bad weather caught us on a trip, so we had to find a place in a hurry, and there weren't enough reviews to warn us away. The room seemed clean at night, but it reeked of cigarettes. In the morning, there was a huge cockroach by the fridge. Then I found water all over the bathroom floor. I mopped it up with towels, thinking rain had somehow come in, but the next time I flushed, water leaked out from under the toilet. So that puddle was disgusting toilet water. And the noise was awful all night, with sirens constantly going off. Apparently there's an ER very close by.

The price was very affordable, and it's close to several restaurants, Walmart, and the hospital. The manager and staff were polite and pleasant, and I enjoyed my stay. The rooms and hotel are definitely dated, though you can see they're trying to update things. The busy intersection nearby makes it a little noisy, but the air conditioner blocks most of it. I also didn't care for the bathroom window, which slid open so easily. I'd stay again.

We were comfortable for our two-day stay. The air conditioner worked fine, the TV picture was pretty good, and there was Wi-Fi. Check-in and checkout were quick and easy, and the front desk clerk was friendly and fast. The room was nice enough, nothing special. It really needs more wall outlets, though. There was only one available in the living area, which is ridiculous. The bathroom could use a major update too.
