A few days after leaving the Courtyard by Marriott in Gainesville, FL, I realized I had lost a T-shirt. When I called, the hotel had kept it safe and had even washed and cleaned it before returning it. That honesty and care really stood out to me. The staff around the property were friendly, professional and ready to help. My family's overnight stay was comfortable, and the room was clean. Great service all around. I highly recommend the hotel and will return next time I'm in Gainesville.

On the way to Orlando, this was a great place to stop for the night. It's close to the highway, with restaurants within a mile. Our room was nice and had a balcony. The person at reception, I believe her name was Perry, was exceptional and made us feel welcome. We'll stay again. Thank you.

We found a roach in the room, which seriously affected our stay. Cleanliness and guest comfort should be a priority, and this was unacceptable. On top of that, none of the TV streaming platforms worked when we arrived, even though we had been looking forward to using them. There was only one staff member on duty when we asked for help, so getting assistance in a reasonable time was difficult. I stayed here on September 1st, and the experience was disappointing. I hope management takes the cleanliness and service issues seriously. After this, I'd hesitate to recommend the hotel.

We come to Gainesville for medical appointments, which can be stressful, so having a place to eat, relax and chat with friendly people means a lot. Our three day weekend here was restful, and the staff were AMAZING. Kerry at the front desk made us feel welcome, and Bianca at the Bistro was kind and generous. Give that woman a raise and a promotion, she deserves it. We'll be back.
