I spent a week here and would stay again if I needed to. The room was spacious and clean, breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. I liked being near everything in town and enjoyed the pretty scenery. The walls are thin, though, so I could hear people next door, in the hall, and upstairs. My fridge didn't work and the bathtub had no stopper, but neither was a deal breaker. There were plenty of fluffy pillows, and the doors had several locks.

The room had a fridge, microwave, coffee and tea maker, plus plenty of outlets, and there were more amenities than the listing mentioned. The guest room and the lobby and breakfast room were all very nice. Staff, especially at the front desk, were cheerful, helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. The outside could use work, including the landscaping and lighting at the driveway entrance. The unusual offset levels at the back are a little challenging, though there is an elevator and ramps. If you need an accessible bathroom, request one, since the toilets are low. I'd give it a 3.5 if I could. It's a good place to stay.

The AC and heater worked fine, and the elevator worked too. The building needs renovation, though. The room smelled, and the air needs to circulate better. The bathtub was dirty and should be replaced, and there was no hair dryer. The floor outside the elevator was dirty as well. The bed felt a bit smaller than I expected for a queen. The fridge barely worked, so my food got somewhat soggy when I froze it. The microwave was okay, though I wasn't sure how clean it was. We stayed because someone had already paid for it; otherwise we'd have found somewhere else. La Quenta next door may be a newer building. If you're looking for a cheaper place, you can come here, but you get what you pay for. I wish the room had better ventilation and didn't smell.

The bed felt comfortable and clean, the towels seemed clean, and the TV and AC both worked. The front desk staff were friendly, and the breakfast area looked clean, though breakfast itself was minimal. My first room smelled strongly of mildew, maybe with a little marijuana mixed in. The staff kindly moved me, and the smell in the new room was much better, though it still felt dingy. A thorough cleaning, especially of the tub, would help, and the whole place could use an update. It was much cheaper than the other hotels on homecoming weekend, even though it still cost over $200 for one night while others were twice as much. I didn't add photos since plenty are already posted. If you mainly need an affordable clean bed and somewhere to shower and don't expect everything to be sterile, this might suit you. Don't expect five-star service at a two-star price.
