La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Gainesville

Anik and Amy made a difficult night so much better. They gave us excellent service, helped with things we needed like paper plates and utensils, and were especially kind in accommodating my son with special needs. They really gave their hearts to helping us, and it blessed us. The room was nice and clean, and the location right off the Interstate made it easy to find. This wasn’t my first stay, and if I get the chance, it won’t be my last. Five stars.

The rooms were cozy, the atmosphere peaceful, and the staff friendly. I loved everything and highly recommend the place for its customer service. I especially want to mention Marcellena, who was working pm and gave exceptional service. The manager or owner is lucky to have her. Keep up the good work, Marcellena! 👏

On more than one occasion, my husband and I have heard the breakfast lady practically screaming at the front desk girl, speaking to her in all kinds of crazy ways and treating her horribly. She’s one of the most disrespectful people I’ve ever seen, rude and uncouth. That poor front desk girl deserves a raise, and the breakfast lady needs to be fired. If she treats coworkers like that, it’s no wonder she doesn’t work directly with guests. It may not affect every guest directly, but I don’t want my hard-earned money going to a company that lets employees treat each other so poorly. Get rid of that woman and do better.

The TV gave us trouble, but the staff were so nice and managed to get it working again. The room and bedding were clean. We had a great stay and I’d definitely come back.
