The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, but room 577 was unbearably loud. The noise sounded like a jet overhead, and when I called the desk at night, they said it was air circulating and couldn't be turned off. The room was 65 degrees when we arrived at 11:30 p.m. We ran the heat all night, but woke up to 63 degrees, with cold air still swirling around us. By morning, staff said they knew some rooms under the roof fans were noisy. They could have moved us, but no one offered that when I called. I woke with a sore throat and headache. I've had better stays.

Breakfast was better than average, with fresh fruit and berries, Greek yogurt, oatmeal, cottage cheese, and the usual options. Our suite was thoughtfully laid out, with newer decor, a comfortable bed, and good climate control. Even on a busy weekend, it stayed peaceful and quiet. The property was very clean and well maintained, and it worked out really well for our quick Gainesville visit.

We stayed here twice in the past month and never had trouble parking, even with the large lot. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms had plenty of space and a full kitchen. Beds were comfortable, and the pool and hot tub were clean. There’s also an outdoor kitchen, a big fireplace, and a plentiful breakfast with both hot and cold choices.

The suites had plenty of room, though they could use some updating. We were only there a couple of nights, and it was an okay stay. The shower took more than ten minutes to get warm, and the floor and walls needed a proper cleaning. For a longer stay, I’d choose somewhere a bit more upscale.

The grill area has a great vibe, and otherwise the place was great. But the hot tub is only available from dawn to dusk, which means using it in the Florida sun, since it doesn't open until 10 p.m. Service could be better too. We went days without room service.
