The inn's original wallpaper and old-time character made the stay feel special, and the natural light and big bathtub were lovely. We booked the downstairs green room for two nights after our Airbnb fell through. The hosts welcomed us with a tour, served delicious breakfasts both mornings, and let us play with Henry, their friendly, cute mini Aussie. It's close to the Old Fiddlers Convention, too. They were so kind, and we plan to come back. A beautiful place for a getaway.

We spent two nights here and loved relaxing on the broad front porch, with its comfortable chairs, sofas, and swing. Margo, the innkeeper, cooked delicious breakfasts and gave us helpful suggestions for nearby sights and restaurants. Our room was thoughtfully furnished, and its large modern private bathroom had plenty of counter space. The house itself is gorgeous, filled with antiques in a way that still feels comfortable. A lovely example of Southern hospitality, and easy to recommend.

We loved our room, and the inn is beautiful. The hosts were welcoming and flexible, with great restaurant suggestions and entertaining stories about the house and town's history. We'd definitely come back.

Galax is a peaceful little town, just right for unwinding. The antique house is beautiful, the breakfasts were incredible, and we had a thoroughly enjoyable three-night stay. The owners couldn't have been nicer.

We had a fantastic visit with fellow innkeepers who care about the industry, historic landmarks, and local communities. The Drs Inn of Galax is quiet, clean, and historic, just steps from downtown, and the breakfast was delicious. The website isn't quite live yet, so call directly to reserve. Loved staying here and we'll be back!
