Nate, the innkeeper, was kind and incredibly helpful. You can tell he wants everyone to have a great stay. We stayed in suite 16, the honeymoon suite, and it felt more upscale than almost any room we've had, at a totally reasonable price. The whirlpool tub and steam shower were heavenly. It was well worth paying a little more than for an average, boring corporate hotel room. We hated leaving when our time was up and would love to return!

The rooms have a wow factor as soon as you step inside, with a luxurious feel that contrasts nicely with the historic exterior. Hosting and the stay were both great. The only downside was truck traffic on the main road. It didn't bother us, though I can see how it might trouble a light sleeper.

Room 7 was huge and easy to get into, with no stairs, and that beautiful fireplace made it even better. My husband and I spent two nights here and loved the spot near downtown. We'd gladly come back.

Even in -40° weather, the fireplace kept our room warm, and the room itself was even better than we expected. Nate and the staff were accommodating and knew their stuff. The breakfast set us up for the day, while the woodwork and architecture gave the place an old-time feel. We’ll be back without hesitation.
