Lots of everyday stops are close by, including grocery and fast food within walking distance. The location worked well, and the staff were welcoming, professional, and very friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a good mattress and pillows; towels and bedding were clean too. The bathroom is nice, though the shower caulking is discolored and missing in spots, so it’s starting to show its age. The pool and gym are nice, and breakfast was good. I liked the new coffee machines. There isn’t a coffee maker in the room, but you can ask for one. We had some trouble getting the split system to regulate the temperature, though that might have been user error.

Breakfast was delicious, and Claire, who helped in the breakfast area, was so sweet and really made me smile. The front desk gentleman was also friendly and helpful, though I didn’t catch his name. Our room was beautiful and clean. I’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in town.

We come back every year for Beerfest at Reserve Brewery, and the staff here are always so friendly and accommodating. Evan at the front desk took great care of us and went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. Claire and Makenna were wonderful in the breakfast area too. They greeted us, made a personal connection, and asked about our stay and plans around Galesburg.

The pool was really nice, especially for a tired toddler and the parents and grandparents. Everything felt beautiful, clean, fresh, and comfortable. Makenna and Claire helped us at breakfast, and they felt like family.

We ended up in Galesburg after looking for a safe-looking hotel with good reviews around Davenport and coming up empty. The reviews here impressed me, and the rooms have lived up to them: clean, new, and great. Breakfast was great too, and the kind, helpful woman running it made a good impression. If I drive this route again, I’ll stay here.
