Avenue O Bed & Breakfast

We stayed in the Seawall suite before our cruise, and check-in went smoothly. Jeff and Polly are amazing hosts. They gave us great dinner recommendations, Polly made a delicious breakfast, and Jeff was quick to pick us up after the cruise. You’ll be in good hands at Avenue O B&B. I can’t recommend this charming B&B enough!

Polly and Jeff know so much about Galveston Island and pointed us toward great restaurants, a good beach spot, and places to explore. Polly’s breakfast was amazing, and the house has a beautiful, roomy backyard garden where you can relax. There’s space inside to sit and chat or play the piano, too. My wife and I had an amazing anniversary here. The room was large, with a comfortable bed and a big bathroom. I tried to find something to complain about so this wouldn’t sound fake, but couldn’t come up with a thing. Polly and Jeff are wonderful people. Easy five stars, and we’ll be back! ❤️

Avenue O works really well for a cruise stay. We left our car in their parking area while we were away, and Jeff drove us right to the terminal, then picked us up when we returned. Our room was clean and just what we wanted. We’ve already booked again for our next cruise. Polly made homemade pizza that was the best we’ve had, along with a breakfast feast, the best we’ve had at a B&B. There’s a nice little porch with seating and a lovely enclosed yard. We liked sitting in the parlor and chatting with other guests, and many stores are within walking distance.

It was so convenient to stay here for our cruise. They offer free parking for your car, drive you to the terminal, and pick you up when you return. We felt sure the car was safe the whole time. The owners are very nice and helpful. The house was built around 1924, and our room was spacious, with its own sitting area and a large, beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was amazing, everything delicious, like eating at a five-star restaurant. We loved our stay!
