If I could rate this zero, I would. We rented a condo Thursday through Monday for my daughter's gymnastics regionals, held two blocks away. We told them our flight into Houston was late and we'd arrive after midnight. Airline delays meant we didn't get there until 4 a.m., but the security guard was friendly and took our parking payment. Once upstairs, my daughter found urine in the toilet, and the smell lingered for hours. She took the bunk bed, but after 15 minutes something was biting her. The sheets were yellowish and dirty, with bugs between them. Spare sheets for the pullout had several long, dark human hairs on them. The next morning, every dish, pot, and pan was greasy and dirty, so we had to wash everything before cooking or eating. Beside the first coffee mug in the cabinet was a dead cockroach bigger than a half-dollar. The carpet was sticky and dirty, and our socks turned black within minutes. The cleanliness problems and what seemed like health code violations should never have happened at a well-run property. It felt like the cleaning staff and management both didn't care about the property or its customers. I asked for a refund for the first night, when we weren't even there because of the airline delay. They denied it and refused to acknowledge the problems. If you want to enjoy your stay, I strongly recommend finding somewhere else.

There was no TV subscription, like Direct TV or Spectrum, so we ended up watching Roku TV. The rooms have plenty of space and can sleep around six, but the kitchen is tiny. I stayed in #327, and it seriously needs updating: rust on the light fixtures, an old stove I was scared to use, cracks in a couple of walls, and a broken coffee table left in the closet.

The only real plus was being within walking distance of the beach. The host was great, but every staff member I dealt with, from the front desk girl to the maintenance guys, was unpleasant and unprofessional. My sister has a service dog for medical issues, and every maintenance guy harassed her. The front desk girl gave me attitude both times I had to deal with her. The rooms are much smaller than they look in the online ads. I definitely won't bring my family back.

It was a decent enough place to stay, and fairly clean. We could've used more towels and washcloths, plus some extra pots and pans.
