Historic Galveston East End Vacation Rental!

I came to Galveston to take the trip my late husband and I had talked about so many times, not for a cruise, and spent several days in this charming home. It gave me a warm, at-home feeling I just don't get in a cold, impersonal hotel. The historic district is quiet and pleasant even on the weekend, and you can tell the people here take pride in the neighborhood. The house is welcoming and beautifully decorated in a Victorian or Edwardian style. I slept in room 2, where the bed was cozy and comfortable, with quality linens. The fluffy towels and washcloths felt pampering, and even though it was chilly for the first few days, I stayed toasty warm. In the living room there are comfy chairs and lap blankets, and the dining area is lovely. The kitchen is well equipped, with a Keurig, espresso machine, classic coffee maker, and several coffee brands for whatever you like. The pictures don't do the furnishings justice. 10 out of 10, I'd do it again.
