Motel Garberville

This was a convenient stop on a long road trip, with basic accommodations. I’d encourage the motel to add EV charging stations. Few hotels nearby offered chargers, so it could help them stand out and get more nightly bookings. If they decide to install them, I suggest contacting Pangea Charging to handle it.

A clean motel in a quiet, pretty spot among giant trees, with morning fog and sweet staff. It’s close to confusion hill and redwood skywalk, and seems like a great place to bring kids. I paid $

The hotel’s rating looked fairly good, and people had praised its cleanliness, but that didn’t match what I found. My non-smoking room smelled like cigarettes. There was a lighter on the chair, and the table had a stain from something sweet. It was a disappointment.

It’s a handy stop while travelling along the 101, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. But noise from the shower running next door and their toilet flushing was really loud in our room. It woke me up, so I didn’t sleep well. I couldn’t get the TV to work either. The one-night stay cost $99 plus tax.
