We stayed overnight too, and the spacious, comfortable room and attentive hotel staff made that part of the visit lovely. The whole celebration was a wonderful way to mark my 50th birthday at The Garden City Hotel. The Rose Room may be Long Island’s best-kept secret. A short golf cart trip from the valet takes you to a slightly sketchy-looking entrance, then into an incredible tucked-away private bar. My guests loved how unusual and fun the whole thing was. The food was delicious, and people are still talking about the decadent rainbow cookies. Carlos and Greg kept the mood lively all night as our bartenders. Chris deserves a special thank you for helping organize everything. He checked every detail, handled my last-minute requests, and kept things running smoothly so I could enjoy the party. It was a perfect spot for a milestone birthday, and we’re already looking forward to another stay. Highly recommend!

Kevin was such a fun, attentive bartender, and the service was a 10/10. I came to the hotel for my birthday, got a massage, then had lunch at the upstairs restaurant. Best Lon drops in town! He deserves a big raise for being so kind and generous. I’ll definitely be back next year ❤️❤️❤️

I always book the Garden City hotel when I’m on Long Island, and the staff are the reason I keep coming back. They make me feel welcome every time. Anthony and the check-in team are amazing, and Jessica deserves a mention too. Everyone’s great.

We had our parents’ 50th anniversary lunch for 25 people at the Red Salt Room, and the family was treated so well from the first phone call until the last guest left. The staff and service were unbelievable, and the food was fantastic. Valet parking was essential for our group, and the room is right by the main lobby with no stairs to manage. I highly recommend it.

We spent the weekend here for a getaway, and the experience went way beyond what we expected. The room on the top floor was huge, with plenty of space for all our belongings, and the views were breathtaking. Everywhere, from the floors to the hallways, was very clean. When we arrived, there were delicious desserts and drinks waiting in the room, which made it feel like home right away. The staff were warm and friendly, and always took care of what my wife and I needed. The hotel is luxurious, with impeccable service. We also loved having so much on site. The clean, easy-to-reach gym is right by an indoor pool and spa, great for winding down after a workout. Downstairs, the restaurants are world class, and there’s so much here that you hardly need to leave. We can’t wait to come back.
