The price was right, and I’d consider staying again, though I’d ask for a clean shower. The room itself was nice, with what looked like new carpet, lots of room for bags, a comfy bed, and shampoo, conditioner, and body wash that smelled amazing. There’s a Food Lion across the street. A few things didn’t work for me: there was mildew around the shower, housekeeping left just one regular coffee pod, the deadbolt was misaligned and wouldn’t work, and the hotel bar was never open.

I left my home in N GA without really knowing where I was headed or where I’d be able to rest, and finding this hotel felt like an answered prayer. For this price, it’s beautiful, but what has really amazed me is how kind and helpful the employees are every time I come back through the front door. A huge thank you to all the compassionate men and women here for helping me and other travelers get the rest and relaxation we so badly need.

The beds were super comfortable, everything worked, and the location is convenient for Food Lion, shops, and gas stations. It also seems freshly renovated, you can smell the new wood! 😄 It was worth the money, though breakfast costs extra and is pay-as-you-go. The cleaners could do more, especially with the shower walls. There’s no microwave, rollaway bed, or crib. We had our 4-month-old with us and left the pack ’n play at home, assuming there’d be a crib like at most places, but there wasn’t. I also wanted to thank the woman whose picture is below, someone’s mom or daughter, whose daughter works and runs breakfast. If you’re reading this, thank you for reminding us that there’s still good in the world. You showed your true colors without even knowing us. I’ll never forget how you held our little girl. She loved you as much as we did. There’s also a picture of our girl relaxing in bed lol!

The rooms worked perfectly for our business trip: roomy and comfortable, with thoughtful touches like hand soap and lotion. There’s no microwave, but we were glad to have a mini fridge. The restaurant was never open when we tried at lunchtime, and we couldn’t find its hours or menu posted anywhere. Fortunately, the Food Lion across the road helped us sort out food. There’s no pool at this hotel. We liked its proximity to Savannah, GA, since the rate was much more reasonable than staying in Savannah. It’s pet friendly too, and the pet fee was reasonable.

The bathroom was dirty in both rooms we were shown. There was hair, grimy shower residue, and hard buildup everywhere, including toothpaste left by the previous guests. The gentleman at the front desk apologized and offered to move us, but the second room was just as bad. I understand it’s a housekeeping issue, but arriving somewhere new and still feeling unclean was really frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend this place. It is 11 minutes by car from the historic district, the mini fridge is nice, and dogs are allowed for an extra fee of $27.
