The location is a real plus, with Oak Mountain nearby for fishing, boating, and other things to do, plus plenty of restaurants and shopping around. It felt like a safe area, and I think people would enjoy staying here. For a month-long stay, the price is pretty reasonable compared with what most hotels charge. I stayed at another long-term hotel on Highway 280 for about $300 less per month. That place felt more like an apartment, while extended-stay places aimed at business travelers can feel more like hotel rooms. Still, this is a well-known name for stays of a few weeks to a couple of months, and I like this place.

The place smelled like dirt, cigarettes, and old food, and even the lobby felt unwelcoming, just a little hallway with someone behind plexiglass. The hallways and elevator were dirty, and the beds were uncomfortable, with mattresses that slid around on the frames. The AC made a jet-plane sound every 5-10 minutes. There were no curtains, and the blinds were worn out. I paid over $150 for one night, but nobody was at the front desk overnight. Around 3 a.m., the people above us sounded like they were remodeling their room. While I was awake from the furniture noise, someone nearby was loudly throwing up, hopefully in their room. I can’t believe we paid that much. I felt robbed of both sleep and money. If you want a good night’s sleep, skip this place. I’ll never choose this brand again, and the reviews praising it don’t seem to expect much for $150 a night.

PJ made my stay, going above and beyond with excellent customer service. The rooms were nice, and the staff treated me well. The Pelham, AL location is close to shopping, restaurants, and the highway. I also heard there’s a nice state park nearby. I loved staying here.

My stepdad was very sick and used a wheelchair, and the staff always checked in to make sure he was okay. He usually didn’t like people, but he genuinely appreciated everyone working here. Mrs Angie is an amazing manager, and Peejay, Jasmine, and James are great staff members. They make guests feel like family, and the place is quiet and relaxing. We’ve stayed here for about a year or two without any issues, and the rooms, bedding, halls, and lobby are kept clean. Rooms are spacious, the beds are big, and the prices are affordable. They clean the room, I think once a week. There are drink and snack machines on the first floor, and it’s both pet and kid friendly. Parking is easy, with handicap spots at the front and back, which is my favorite part. If no one is at the desk, there’s a number to call and they usually arrive in ten minutes or less since they’re nearby. I’d definitely recommend staying here, even for just a night or two.

Angi, PeeJay, Keisha, and Jasmine have all been kind and helpful, and they give useful suggestions when you ask what to do around town. Mr. James helps keep the property maintained. The rooms are clean and a decent size. It’s a quiet location close to the highway, shopping, and restaurants.
