Budget Inn Williamsport

Very clean and inexpensive, with outstanding service. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. We’ll stay here again!

The room was cleaner and better than I expected, and the service was good. It’s a small budget hotel, conveniently close to town and the highways.

The person who checked me in brushed off my concerns and acted as if I were making a fuss, so I let it go at the time. Looking back, I should have asked for my money back right away. The room was filthy: bugs everywhere, cobwebs across the ceiling, stained sheets, and it hadn’t been vacuumed. The ceiling light didn’t work, either. Although it was meant to be non-smoking, the room reeked of years of stale cigarette smoke. No one should stay here until the unsanitary rooms are addressed.

We stayed overnight during a road trip, and it was peaceful and quiet. From our back window, we could see a pretty residential street, and the room was fairly warm when we arrived. Our non-smoking room didn’t smell of cigarettes, which is hard to find, lol. The staff were kind and helpful, and the man at the counter was friendly. The room was clean, the bathroom even cleaner, and the tub, shower, and towels were fresh. No bugs, either. We checked in fairly late, and checkout was easy. It was a nice budget stay. Booking sites online list breakfast, but there isn’t any. It wasn’t an issue for us, and the motel was meant to have that listing removed.
