The front desk woman was really nice, and the room had a comfortable bed, a big TV, a table and chairs, plus a small fridge and coffee maker. It was clean, and the covered parking was convenient with plenty of places to eat nearby. The AC was loud but did its job. We stayed two nights and the room wasn't serviced between them, so we didn't get fresh towels, soap, or coffee supplies. The toilet paper holder felt loose, the room needed better lighting, and the ice machine took my quarter without giving me any ice.

After three days here, I had to change my own sheets, and the man who runs the place, the father or husband, was rude. His daughter seemed nice, but she isn't always at the front desk. For what this costs, the value just isn't there. I'd go to the Motel 6 in Carson instead, only about two miles away. It offers great value, clean rooms, and good customer service.

The property looks renovated, but that doesn't excuse how my family was treated while we were in crisis. We were there under an authorized emergency motel voucher because of homelessness involving minor children, a dependent senior, and a domestic violence survivor. Even after our placement was confirmed, staff kept questioning whether we belonged there, putting up barriers, and giving us conflicting information about occupancy and checkout. When checkout came, management and front desk staff repeatedly pushed us to leave right away, even though it was cold and raining and my children and elderly family member were with me. We weren't allowed to wait in the lobby or even briefly under cover in the parking area while trying to arrange help. Their manner felt intimidating and dismissive, with little compassion for a family with kids. The worst part was being told that complaints or negative feedback could be reported to agencies and affect our chances of getting future help. Vulnerable families relying on emergency services should never be threatened that way. This was about safety, dignity, and how an emergency placement should be handled, not about expectations. The treatment happened despite our authorized voucher. I've documented and shared these issues with the appropriate oversight agencies. I hope management looks at staff training and policy compliance for emergency placements, trauma-informed care, and non-retaliation, especially for families using public assistance. Professionalism, empathy, and clear communication were seriously lacking. Families already in crisis shouldn't be treated this way.

The room was spotless and comfortable, and the bed was especially cozy. I slept well in the quiet. The staff were friendly, professional, and ready to help whenever I needed anything. I had an amazing stay here.

For the price, it was a comfortable stay. The place is quiet, pet friendly, affordable, and centrally located, with supermarkets and food spots within walking distance. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean. There's no pool or free breakfast, but I would still stay again. A few things bothered me: the sheets are two flat ones instead of a fitted sheet, so pulling down the covers pulls the mattress sheet loose too, and fixing it gets annoying. There are no blinds, so to get daylight you have to leave the curtains open, which lets people walking by look into your room. The Wi-Fi was very weak and kept disconnecting.
