I stayed here for about two months, and my experience got worse the longer I was there. At first, the staff seemed fake, and I wondered why they were pushing me so hard to leave a review. There was frequent staff turnover, and I saw a few roaches. Denise, the GM, had her family working at the hotel, which felt like a conflict of interest to me and other guests. The manager, Sean, was also throwing rocks and hiding, along with Denise, as I saw it. They called and knocked on my door three or four times a day about payment, even though I never missed a day and paid daily, as we had agreed when I arrived. In my last few days, the bathroom flooded and urine soaked my belongings. Chris from maintenance told me Denise and her kids had done it on purpose. A disabled resident also told me Sean had tried to sleep with him. I tried to mind my own business, but staff repeatedly offended me, including calls at any hour on Thursdays and Fridays. Denise also tried to scam me out of $60. Since I found out the hotel is locally owned, it seems they’re allowed to act unprofessionally toward guests.

The noise made it hard to sleep, and the heat and AC unit glitched and only worked when it felt like it. There was trash all over outside, the floors were coming up, and the bathroom was falling apart: the tub seal was broken and it wouldn’t hold water, while the sink was coming away from the wall. Inside, the rooms were filthy, with stained towels and bedding covered in hair, and German cockroaches. I had to throw away a lot of my things and do a lot to avoid taking roaches with me. I regret staying here. It wasn’t worth it, and it felt like the worst hotel on earth.

It’s affordable, and having a kitchen in the room makes it more comfortable than a regular hotel. Denise is especially good with guests. She goes out of her way to make people feel welcome and cared for, and it’s clear she takes pride in her work. It’s not bad at all.

I want to thank Iris in particular. She was so amazing, and I loved her downn. All the housekeepers were kind and respectful. It was a wonderful experience.

If you need anything, ask for Chris. He’ll get it for you whenever you need it, day or night, and he’s a good guy. Sean is great too and will help however he can. Denise took her time explaining things and was helpful with everything. I love these guys.
