I was in LOVE with this place when I stayed over Valentine's weekend. It's a no-frills hotel, which is exactly what I like, with an old-timey feel, fresh paint and Roku TVs. The private smoking area, rooms set back from the road, especially in the back building, and easy access to the Parkway made it a 10/10 for me. Management was helpful and easy to reach. We'll be back soon :)

The room was clean, comfortable and quiet, which was such a blessing since we slept right through the night. The hot shower and cool A/C were appreciated too. Staff were friendly and polite, greeting me with a genuine smile and enthusiasm whenever I passed them. It made the trip much more enjoyable to stay somewhere with respectful guests and staff who cared. We were visiting the Great Smoky Mountains. Gatlinburg was more touristy than I'd imagined, but it's close to the National Park. The hotel sits far enough off the main road to feel peaceful, while the attractions are still an easy walk away. I'd stay here again.

For our spur-of-the-moment four-day trip, my wife booked this through Booking.com, and we were surprised the total came to $57.50 a night including tax. The trolley stop right in front made it easy to get to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. The room was very clean and smelled fresh, the mattress was comfortable, and they brought extra linens when we asked. WiFi worked very well, and the Roku TV lineup was great. The management and staff were extremely friendly and took care of whatever we needed right away. We'll be back and would recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable room close to town.

For the dirt cheap price, the friendly staff, decent cleanliness and good location make this a place I'd stay in if I just needed somewhere to sleep. But despite its listing as a four-star hotel, it feels like a motel. The rooms seem badly renovated, a lot of things were broken, and the beds were uncomfortable. Too much was wrong to list. For anything beyond a basic place to sleep, I'd look elsewhere.

This isn't a high-end hotel, but our room was very clean, and the management was so courteous and accommodating. When we mentioned that the TV's color was going bad, we said we could manage since we wouldn't be in the room much. The manager came by the next morning and personally installed a new one, then chatted with us about the area and local bear activity. A great team. We'll stay again!
