The bed was firm and comfortable, and the sheets looked clean, but the broken door lock made us feel unsafe. The room had a strong mold smell as soon as we opened the door. The window was grimy and moldy, and the walls and bathroom floor were clearly not clean, even though the surfaces seemed fine. Check-in was easy, and the front desk employee was friendly and gave us good restaurant suggestions. That was the one bright spot. We would have left if we’d had another option. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

Geneseo is a beautiful town, and the people are welcoming. The bed was comfortable, but the bathroom needs maintenance: the sink backed up, though it did eventually drain. The pool seems to be permanently closed. As for the room, I won’t share a photo of what the previous occupants left behind, but the cleaning clearly missed details. Maybe this location is short on cleaning staff. The takeaway for me is to believe what you read.

The rooms were very clean, and the young man at the front desk was courteous and helpful.

The location worked well for us, with downtown Geneseo and a nice walking park with a playground nearby. My kids had a great time in the indoor pool, and the hotel was very clean. Breakfast had a few basic items out in the morning, which was nice. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. For the price, the value was very good. We’d stay here again.

Our room was quiet and clean, and breakfast had both hot and cold options. The front desk staff were great. We’d stay here again.
