It was a nice place, and the amenities matched the description, but this property is massive and definitely not on the lake. You really need a car or golf cart to get around, even inside the RV park. Golf carts can only go in a few areas, so they won’t take you very far.

Our RV site was beside the pond and close to the restroom and shower building. The facilities were very clean, and the grounds were well maintained. There’s a store and restaurant on site, and the staff at check-in were very nice. There are activities to do when the weather cooperates. A shuttle nearby can take you where you need to go. It can mean a wait when it’s busy, but that beats driving to the strip and hunting for parking. We’d recommend staying here.

Indian Creek/Sun resorts has been our favorite campground since I came here as a little girl with my parents. Now I get to bring my own kids, and we hope to get a permanent site someday. The office staff are always friendly and helpful. Campsites are spacious, the amenities are great, and we love the pool, playground, and especially the jump pad. The bathroom and shower facilities are the cleanest I’ve ever seen. The fire pits are great, with a big swivel grate for cooking. The store is well stocked, and the restaurant above it is so good.

The pools were great and super clean. The older gentleman attending them, a retired Navy man, was very nice, chatty, and playful with the kids. But on our first night, two children aged 9 and 13 were with five other kids camping with us, ages 13 to 17, at the bounce pillow. A group of seasonal campers, or maybe a family living there, threw rocks of different sizes at our kids. Their 9-year-old called my daughter ugly and a mop head, then hit her in the head with a baseball-sized rock. She came back crying and told us what happened. The older kids had seen it, and when they spoke up, the younger kids’ older siblings came out and harassed them. When my husband and I arrived, we heard the seasonal kids cursing and threatening to beat up our older daughter and her friends. We got out to confront them, and their mother came down the steps yelling at us. While we were explaining what had happened, she got defensive and said she’d call her husband, who is a cop, to deal with my husband. I called the front gate for security, but was told the campground had none, so I called the police because I wanted a written record. It was our first night, and I worried this would keep happening. The kids eventually admitted they had thrown rocks, hit my daughter, and made threats. The next day at the pool, the campground provided water toys, including squirters. Our kids were squirting each other at one end, and the other mother loudly complained to the pool attendant that they were spraying water in the pool. Two nights later, the kids at the bounce pillow were threatened with being punched again. We had an adult watching, so we took our kids away. If your children want to use the bounce pillow, have an adult supervise them. Other reviews also seem to describe bullying and harassment there.

I’ve been there five times in the past two years and think it’s a great place. I’m honestly considering getting a permanent lot.
