Holiday Inn Express & Suites Geneva Finger Lakes by IHG

The staff were great. The gentleman who checked me in was really polite, people kept the halls and public areas clean, and the breakfast buffet servers refilled the food quickly. We came during February break to visit a few wineries, which was a big mistake. Groups of kids were running around noisily, including in the hallways at 6am. I mentioned it at the desk and was told families rent rooms so their kids can use the pool during break. This is one of only two hotels in the area with a pool. We won’t make that mistake again.

Austin, Stacy, Emily, and a gentleman I think may have been maintenance, though I didn’t get his name, were all so friendly. The service was great, and even my almost 7-year-old said how nice everyone at the hotel was. Thank you for an awesome stay. We’ll hopefully be back.

The rooms were spacious and clean, and Stacy at the front desk gave me a warm welcome at check-in. Breakfast was good, not cheap Walmart stuff. Thanks for the chocolate cookies and coffee that everyone could help themselves to. The Wi-Fi was fast, too. The location is about 1 mil from the water, food, and restaurants, with a garage right next door.

Everything was good, and I’d definitely stay here again. The room was very clean, the heating and ventilation were nice and quiet, and breakfast was great. The one issue was the elevator, which sounded like it needed maintenance.
