We didn't hear other guests in the rooms next to us, or highway and truck noise from inside. You can back up or pull right up to the room, which made loading and unloading easy. The room was clean and had coffee supplies, toiletries, towels, and hot water on demand. The apartment-size fridge and freezer impressed me. There was also an apartment-size microwave, a TV with remote, a small table with chairs, two comfortable queen mattresses, and two pillows per bed. The mini-split AC kept the room comfortable and cool at 77°. A few suggestions: add a ceiling fan for air and heat circulation, a night-light wall plate in the bathroom and sink areas, and a grab bar beside the toilet. I'd also replace the outdated carpet, which can hold mildew and odors for guests sensitive to allergens or smells, with laminate wood-grain flooring that's easier to vacuum and mop. Please be mindful of the cleaning products, especially for guests prone to chemical allergies. For people with severe allergies, I recommend Zep commercial cleaner over Bleach, Fabulouso, and Pine-sol.

The owners are the sweetest, but during my stay an odd smell like waste got really pungent. Edit: I can't believe how distasteful the reply was. We'll take our business elsewhere!

It's a privately owned, no-frills place with budget rates that are very reasonable. The owner is polite, and it's a great option instead of the overpriced hotels around here. There's room for big trucks, too.

I stayed five or six nights while waiting for a load to be moved, and Mike, the owner, and the housekeeper, whose name I believe was Diane, treated me like family. They didn't bang on the door at 11:00 telling me it was time to pay or leave, and they were concerned and helpful when the AC in my truck went out. They don't serve breakfast, but the $40 to $60 you save compared with other local hotels buys a lot of food. From outside, the motel doesn't look like much, but it's a hidden pearl. My room was very clean, including the corners and baseboards. It had a fridge, microwave, flat-screen TV with a good cable selection, a comfortable bed, and plenty of hot water.
