We just spent five nights here, and I could've stayed somewhere else for about 50 dollars less, but I chose the extra cost to know what to expect and avoid risking a bad stay. I've brought my family here a few times a year, and the staff are always welcoming and accommodating. The hotel always smells clean, like fresh linens. The pool and hot tub area is in good order, with a warm pool and a hot tub that's hot. Our rooms have been clean and the beds comfortable. I've seen other reviews say the USB ports don't work, but they've worked for us every time. Thanks for the good stays. I look forward to coming back with my family, and would highly recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

I don't understand how this place has such a good rating. The front desk staff talked our ears off and tried to sell us extra trips. The beds in our two-bedroom suite were the worst we've ever slept on. The room looked so plain and cheap that I imagine it was like solitary confinement in a minimum-security prison. I'd give the place negative stars if I could.

The breakfast was decent, and the hotel said it was pet friendly, but we found out on arrival that it only allowed dogs. I had driven for eight hours through a snowstorm and wasn't about to leave, so I didn't say my pet was a cat. I just said he was very quiet and you'd never hear him bark, lol. There's an active railway very nearby, so train whistles woke us several times during the night. That's not the hotel's fault.

We had a recently renovated room with wood laminate flooring, which felt cleaner than carpet, and the room-darkening shades helped us sleep. There was a sofa and chair where we could sit and watch TV in the evening, and assorted cookies were at the check-in desk. Breakfast was hot and delicious, with a good assortment. The scrambled eggs were good, and one day they had sausage with biscuits and gravy, while the next day it was bacon and home potatoes. Nice hotel, you won't go wrong here.
