Update: I got my money back after driving to the hotel to discuss it. The young woman who helped me was very sweet, explained why it had been delayed, and apologized. I’d booked a room for a client from May 19 - May 22. She liked the hotel and the stay went well, but I was upset when the $100 incidental deposit wasn’t returned. The room had been left neat with no issues. I called several times and was told the refund would take 5-7 days, but it still hadn’t arrived by then. I’d thought I’d found a reasonably nice place, and wish they’d communicated better.

The hotel has good facilities, but maintenance, cleaning, and pest control need more attention. We stayed in August 2025 and had a disappointing time: the shower never got hot, and there were cockroaches in the bathroom. In another room used by our family, the mattress sagged and the toilet wouldn’t flush.

There’s no cable or hot water in the room, and there are no lobby staff after 8 PM. They also won’t let you check in before 4 PM. I’ve stayed in hostels in third-world countries with better accommodations and service. Sleeping in your car would be better. If I could give this hotel zero stars, I would.

My family and I drove ten hours from Kentucky and arrived at 4:30 AM, only to find a sign saying the office opened at 7. At 7:25 the door still wasn’t open. We’d booked the room for the previous night, so we should have been able to check in at any time. I’ve never seen a motel or hotel without someone at the desk to check guests in or help them. This was ridiculous. Don’t waste your time, sleep, or money here.
