Nothing in life is perfect, but staying here for several months was such a joy and a blessing for my family and me. The staff were always accommodating and so good to us. Every morning felt like visiting family. Thank you, Lazelle, Aleah, Alex, and Ruby. You’re all amazing, caring people. Best wishes to everyone. Thanks, Tiffany Kennedy

After driving over 8 hrs, I got to the hotel to check in and found out they’d canceled my room because they overbooked. They hadn’t contacted me at all beforehand, by email, phone, or any other way. They just left me stranded and waited until I showed up to tell me. They didn’t refund my money, and said I’d have to call the manager Monday. When I called for my money back, the manager was rude and cut me off before I could explain. How does it make sense to cancel someone’s room, leave them stranded, then be rude when they ask for a refund? I’ll never book here again.

The worst part was trying to cancel my next day’s reservation. I explained my concerns to Manager Eric Colon and asked to cancel, and he condescendingly replied, “you’re good.” When I clarified that I meant cancel and refund the next day, he said no, because I’d booked through booking.com. I asked whether unhappy customers at WoodSpring Suites Austin Georgetown could never get a refund, and he repeated that I was “good” and wouldn’t get one through a third party. He never apologized or showed concern about what WoodSpring Suites Austin Georgetown offers guests. His attitude was basically “tough luck” or “oh well.” This is more like a half Star hotel. If you have children, you don’t want to stay here. It wasn’t a clean, healthy environment, from the parking garage to the rooms, and Manager Eric Colon handled the situation unprofessionally. I checked in late, exhausted, and stayed the night, but the room smelled stale. Around 1a I found the toilet wouldn’t flush, and in the morning I had hives or bites on my legs. I went downstairs at 630a, but there was no staff person to be found. Outside the front door, food and beer cans were overflowing from the trash. When I arrived, there were approximately 15-20 individuals outside hanging out, drinking beer, and grilling. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!!!

Christmas day brought a new low: I was threatened with having to leave over a past due balance if it wasn’t paid by the next morning. A couple of days earlier, I’d asked the front desk to have management contact me about a billing discrepancy on their end. I tried to catch a manager on shift but couldn’t. When I went to pay, the disgruntled employee on call was rude and hostile. I’ve been here close to 2 years, and I’ve seen three hotel managers and many front desk staff come and go. The current management is the most absurd by far. I’ve spent over $40,000 dollars staying here, but apparently that means nothing. I’ve put up with a roach infestation, a broken elevator, out of date building inspections, and transitions between managers. If I’d been able to afford it, I’d have left long ago. This is my experience. I’m not telling anyone whether to stay or not, just warning people to understand that the standard of operations leaves a lot to be desired. You absolutely get what you pay for, except I’ve been overpaying for chronic dissatisfaction every day. I understand the business side of things, but being completely out of touch with the human element is egregious. Best of luck to the new management 👍

It was a clean room, and I didn’t hear traffic even though it’s next to I35. The front desk clerk was friendly. But there were no coffee cups at the breakfast bar, and the bathroom water pressure in the room was nonexistent.
